The Gummy Bears, The Lemon Drops, The Fizzy Five, The Cola Cubes and The Drumsticks ( also known as 25 of our 1st class players) welcomed their counterparts from Ashton for their first 1st Class girls Blitz on Sunday.

In teams of 5, Garryduff had strong showings in all of the games, some wins, some losses, but plenty of fun and many great learning opportunities for the girls and coaches alike. Some of our teams especially loved playing against classmates and we noticed the Competition ramping up a notch in those matches!

There were jellies for all at the end ( thanks to Diane for sorting) and much to talk about in school this week for all our players!

Thanks to all of the girls and their supportive parents for a brilliant first year of hockey for them so far and we look forward to finishing off the season in style.
