The Div 5A team had a great 5-2 win against Ashton yesterday in miserable conditions at the back end of storm Bert. Going a goal up after 40 seconds through Pia Cronin, they attacked well for the remainder of the quarter.

Ashton equalised from a corner before Nicola Sullivan put us in the lead again.

We went 3-1 up through Ciara O'Mahony only for Ashton to bring it back to 3-2 just on half-time.
CI scored twice more on the second half with goals from Lia O'Flynn & Emma Whelan to put the game out of Ashtons reach. The Div 5A team have moved from bottom place 3 weeks ago to 4th place in the table
